As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for expressing a brand’s voice across multiple platforms. You will also be responsible for developing and producing high-quality content across various platforms, including social media, blog posts, videos, and other formats. Your primary goal will be to create engaging, informative, and entertaining content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand's tone and style.

We need a versatile and dynamic writer who can switch between different brand voices with ease and meet tight deadlines without breaking a sweat.


Key Responsibilities

Content Development:

• Research and develop content ideas that align with the company's marketing strategy and target audience.

• Write, edit, and proofread engaging blog posts, articles, social media posts, and other content formats (e.g., videos, infographics).

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop content that meets business objectives and brand standards.


Content Creation:

•Produce high-quality content that is visually appealing, informative, and engaging.

•Use relevant graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia elements to enhance content.

•Edit and finalize content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.


Content Publishing:

• Publish content on various platforms (e.g., website, social media channels, email newsletters).

• Coordinate with internal teams to schedule content publication dates and times.

• Monitor analytics to track engagement and adjust content strategy accordingly.


Content Promotion:

• Develop promotional strategies to increase engagement and drive traffic to our website or social media channels.

• Collaborate with internal teams to promote content through email campaigns, paid advertising, and other channels.


Content Maintenance:

• Update existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

• Remove or archive outdated or irrelevant content.


Content Analytics:

• Track and analyse content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

• Identify trends and areas for improvement in content performance.


Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, design, development) to ensure seamless integration of content into overall marketing campaigns.

•Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas.

  • Writing and Editing: Ability to write engaging, well-researched, and error-free content for various formats (e.g., blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, podcasts).

  • Content Strategy: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Content Calendar Management: Ability to plan, schedule, and manage content across various channels and formats.
  • Research and Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough research, analyse data, and identify trends to inform content creation.
  • Content Conceptualization: Ability to brainstorm innovative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Content Editing and Proofreading: Ability to review, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and quality.


Digital Literacy

  • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms, including their features, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Content Management Systems (CMS): Ability to work with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) to manage and publish content.
  • Audio/Video Production: Familiarity with audio/video production software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud) and ability to create engaging multimedia content.
  • Digital Asset Management: Ability to manage digital assets (e.g., images, videos, documents) for organization-wide use.


Creative Skills

  • Visual Content Creation: Ability to create high-quality visual content (e.g., graphics, infographics, illustrations) using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Audio Content Creation: Ability to create high-quality audio content (e.g., podcasts, voiceovers) using audio software (e.g., Audacity).
  • Design Principles: Understanding of design principles (e.g., colour theory, typography) and ability to apply them effectively in content creation.
  • Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative ideas for content.


Collaboration and Project Management:

  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design, development).
