Job Descriptions

Based in Singapore, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven Accountant to join our headquarters! If you are looking for a place for hands-on experience and making a difference in a fast moving, agile startup environment, this might be the place for you.

You will play a vital role in day-to-day finance operations in the company, work closely with key stakeholders to ensure completion and accuracy of financial reporting while being in compliance with the local tax and audit. requirements.


We will trust you to: 

• Preparing all required journal entries and account reconciliations for cash, prepaid, accruals, inter-company, fixed assets, payroll, and other various accounts for Singapore operations.
• Preparing quarterly GST returns
• Liaise with shared service teams on AP/AR, bank reconciliation and payment matter to ensure accurate and timely month end close
• Checking and verifying invoices, staff claims as well as preparing for payment to suppliers and other creditors.
• Assist with statutory audit and annual corporate tax filing
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc.
• Reconciles the general ledger accounts monthly for Singapore operations
• Prepare and present management report to key stakeholders
• Support in the design of financial statement close processes that are scalable and reduce closing time required

You're a fit for this role, if you have a:

• Minimally a Diploma in Finance and related, or a professional accounting body certification with at least 5 years of accounting experience in an audit and commercial environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  Advantageous to possess experience in any of the following industries: retail, e-commerce, consumer products and FMCG; however, not required.
• Advantageous to possess experience and familiarity with Oracle Netsuite or similar.
• Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced evolving environment.
• An eye for detail with strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
