About 40 seniors from Golden Clover Active Ageing Centre toured the Mapletree Public Arts & Heritage Trail at the HarbourFront Precinct on 26 June! Accompanied by 11 staff-volunteers from Mapletree, our senior friends started the art trail at VivoCity to view artworks such as the 6-metre tall Flower Tree by Korean artist, Choi Jeong-Hwa, as well as a three-story high Snowman by German artist, Inges Idée. They continued to St James Power Station (SJPS) to learn about Singapore’s first power plant that opened in 1927 and decommissioned in 1976. SJPS was acquired and restored by Mapletree in 2006 and has undergone two rounds of restoration since.    This arts & heritage trail is conducted as part of Mapletree’s corporate social responsibility efforts to bring arts and culture closer to everyday life. We are happy to have three SMU graduates who was part of the Mapletree Real Estate Programme (MREP) start their professional journeys at Mapletree. They were part of a programme designed to build future real estate industry leaders, enabling participants to embark on a journey of learning and industry experience. One of the graduates shared, "The programme provided hands-on knowledge and exposure to real-life applications, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills." Our Private Capital Management colleagues in Singapore recently immersed themselves in an interactive Virtual Reality world. The team engaged each other in friendly combat via thrilling games of VR Laser Tag, and even participated in a Jungle-themed VR escape room, where the team collaborated to overcome challenges, uncover hidden treasures, and make a great escape! #Mapletree #LifeAtMapletree #EmployeeEngagement

In the sixth edition of the Mapletree Youth Futsal Camp, 99 participants had three days of fun while learning from experienced coaches. Despite the wetter weather on day 2 of the camp, the kids had a blast acquiring new techniques that include dribbling, shooting, passing and ball control. The young talents were able to put these skills to the test through friendly matches at the end of each session. This annual camp is part of Mapletree's corporate social responsibility efforts, and we are grateful for the enthusiastic response and participation! #Mapletree #CSR

To support the local environment, colleagues from our Atlanta office recently volunteered in Piedmont Park for the second year. The volunteers came together to plant, prune, weed, and chop down overgrowth. As part of efforts to enhance leasing at Galatyn Commons, an asset of Mapletree US Income Commercial Trust (MUSIC) in Dallas, Texas, a broker event was held earlier this month which was well attended by over 100 brokers.
