Kuraray Asia Pacific is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuraray Co., Ltd. Kuraray Co., Ltd. was established in 1926 in Kurashiki, Japan for the commercialization of synthetic rayon – the cutting edge technology at the time. Today, the Kuraray group, with its presence in 70 companies spanning across the globe and employing 8,590 people, is a world leader and the biggest producer of PVOH, PVB and special polymer grades.
