How to know when to quit your Startup? ⏳ Why would anyone choose to speak on this topic? Quitting is not a popular word in the business language. 🤷♀️ When our CEO Senad Santic was invited to give a keynote speech at SaaStanak, he proposed three topics, one of which was this. Old Town Nest is OFFICIALLY OPEN! 😍 We love sharing great stories, and this one is close to our hearts since our CEO Senad is investing in a new form of tourism. 🌄   Old Town Nest is the first co-living/co-working space in Bosnia and Herzegovina. When you leave the complex, you’re in a fairy-tale-like old town, with amazing scenery, great restaurants, and bars. In case you want to squeeze in some work (workation/slow travel), you have: 📡 A great dedicated internet connection 🐱 A cozy coworking space 🖥 Monitors in all the units and the coworking space 📋 A whiteboard to think out loud Old Town Nest wants to attract talented people from all over the world to become part of this community, at least for a while. How to know when to quit your SaaS? 14 years in product development, 4 successful startups, and many more failed ones taught our CEO, Senad Santic, a lot. The difference between: "I'm glad I didn't quit" and "I wish I had quit earlier" is a thin line. Questions that helped Senad and can help you: ➡ Has the timing passed our project? ➡ Has our team (if there is one) given up? ➡ Have we tried pivoting on the business model? ➡ How much more are we willing to work without pay? ➡ Is this the right team? Ultimately... Set a hard deadline with clear milestones. ⏯ Hope this helps. "There aren't many SaaS-focused conferences in the Balkans (if any), so I think the initial community needs to stay tight and help each other out as much as possible." - concluded Senad. How to use AI in research? 🤖 Our Valerija presented Avidnote at the Researchers Meetup in Sarajevo. Avidnote helps researchers to: ➡ read and write research papers faster ➡ analyze research data with AI templates The event concluded with a networking session, which allowed young researchers to connect and discuss their work in a relaxed environment. Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) and Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation created an excellent platform for building new relationships and fostering future collaborations between academia and the private sector. 🚀 We are looking forward to seeing more opportunities in the research field in BiH! 💚

The BH Professionals meetup in Oslo was a blast! 😍 It was incredible to meet each person, hear inspiring stories, and share ideas on how we can collaborate! 🤝 Here are some ideas: ➡ If you are a professional, you can share your knowledge through a webinar or mentoring program ➡ Project collaboration - our diaspora can connect us with companies needing our services. ➡ Help us connect BH students with internship opportunities in your companies. ➡ You can donate the amount of one coffee and help activities of Bosnia & Herzegovina Futures Foundation. The 2024 Award Ceremony took place on June 15th, showcasing the extraordinary talent of PhD, Masters & Undergraduate candidates from around the world. 🌎 Congratulations to all participants and winners: Emina Ucambarlic, Faruk G. and Saliha Mustafić! 👏 We enjoyed learning about different topics in such an easy way.
