My Orange Services journey began with a LinkedIn job posting that immediately caught my eye, as it seemed to be a perfect match for my skills and career aspirations, which I chose to pursue further. 🌟 If I were to list the top 3 rewarding aspects of being a Technical Project Manager within our Cloud Infrastructure Solutions and Services (CISS) department, they would have to be: 1.  Cutting-edge Technology Exposure: Constantly engaging with the latest tools and platforms like Kubernetes and AI/ML-integrated solutions that keep me at the forefront of tech advancements. 2.  Impactful Projects: Designing and implementing cloud solutions (IaaS, CaaS, PaaS) that drive digital transformation and enhance business capabilities is incredibly fulfilling. 3.  Cross-functional teams: Working with diverse teams in tackling complex problems in cloud infrastructure. 👋Hello, I’m Bogdan Stefan Antohe, Cloud Developer at Orange Services, based in 📍Bucharest. My Orange Services adventure began on LinkedIn when a recruiter presented me with a captivating opportunity and I've decided to accept a new challenge in my professional journey. Currently, I'm a Cloud Developer within the Cloud Infrastructure Solutions and Services department for the Project Sylva, an open-source initiative, driven by a passionate community, that aims to build a cloud software framework specifically designed for the telecom industry. It's a dynamic environment that throws new hurdles my way every day, pushing me to constantly learn and grow. As a Cloud Developer, I leverage a diverse toolkit: ✅Cluster API allows me to manage infrastructure across various platforms: OpenStack (CAPO), Docker (CAPD), even bare-metal with Metal3 (CAPM3). ✅We're also exploring Kubeadm and RKE2 as bootstrap providers. ✅GitOps, specifically FluxCD, for managing deployments. ✅CI/CD pipelines are automated with GitLab for seamless development and deployment. ✅Rancher and Helm charts streamline container orchestration. ✅Selenium helps ensure everything runs smoothly with automated testing. 🤝Beyond the technical aspects, what I love most about Orange Services is the team culture that is amazing. It's a collaborative and supportive environment that drives innovation, which is very important for me. My job is all about connecting & matching great talents with great opportunities. 🖊️ How did you discover your passion for ceramics? 🏺My journey into ceramics began with a deep appreciation for beautifully crafted home decor items. This passion inspired me to try my hand at creating my own pieces. 🖊️Talk us through the process of creating ceramic items, please! 🖐️I first started with an easy-to-mold air-dry clay that is dedicated exclusively to creating decorative objects. My initial works included holders for candles and incense sticks. I continue to focus on these types of objects, particularly because I am still learning and exploring the nuances of the art of ceramics. Working with air-dry clay was an ideal starting point, allowing me to experiment without the need for a kiln. It takes some time to achieve the final result, and I don't have a set schedule for it. Whenever I feel creative or want to relax at home, I sit down and start modeling. 🖊️Is it challenging to find time for your passion? ⏱️The most challenging thing for me is finding the right balance between pursuing my hobby and my personal and professional life. It's all about dedicating time and finding that sweet spot towards my ceramic work. 🖊️What future plans do you have towards your passion? ☕ In the future, I would love to explore crafting ceramics that can be fired in a kiln. Ultimately, It's a continuous journey of learning and discovery, and I look forward to seeing how my work develops in the future.
