Move-In Dates for Fall 2024 and 2025
Submit Your PennCard Photo: by June 30

For new students: in order ensure that your check-in process at move-in goes smoothly, you must apply for your PennCard through Campus Express by submitting your photo on-line by June 30, 2024.

Select Arrival Time: June 20

Please review move-in dates, and then go to MyHomeAtPenn to select your arrival time starting on Thursday, June 20. You are able to change your arrival time up until Monday, August 12.

Register Your Guest: August 1

You will be able to sign up your guests via the RHS Portal starting in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 1. This process will generate a mobile guest pass, which each guest must show – in addition to photo ID – to the Allied Guard at the turnstile of the residential building. Your guests are not able to stay overnight.

After-Hours Arrival

After-hours arrival times are for students arriving after 3 pm on August 25 or after 5 pm on August 19, 20, and 27-29 on scheduled move-in days. You must select an after-hours arrival time on MyHomeAtPenn. Please note that if this after-hours arrival is also an early arrival, you may be charged a nightly fee.

If you are arriving after-hours, please note that streets will not be closed and there will not be staff available to assist with parking and moving items up steps in selected buildings.

If you are a new student, your PennCard will be available at your building’s Information Center. You will be able to sign out a cart from your building’s Information Center.

If you have guests, you can sign them in at your building’s Information Center.
