Research and beauty collide at the Trial Gardens

SBA Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed delivered opening remarks about a federal plan to build awareness of resources available to entrepreneurs and the White House HBCU Initiative to promote more collaboration between historically Black colleges and universities and SBA resource partners.
Over 200 attended the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) America’s Seed Fund 2024 Road Tour stop on May 14 in Atlanta, where they gained insights and experience in what federal funding programs are looking for in proposals and how they can be more successful entrepreneurs.
Attendees had the opportunity to sit down one-on-one with program managers from various federal agencies to talk through their proposal ideas. Here, well-known recording artist Aloe Blacc meets with attendees to discuss his biotech company that is working on a Covid vaccine.
