The management of orofacial pain encompasses several procedural issues, including the delivery of anesthetic and the management of postprocedural pain, as well as pain diagnosis and management strategies for orofacial conditions that cause pain in the face and head.
A major issue in the treatment of orofacial pain is the use of opioids, when to use them and when they are recommended.
