According to the arrest affidavits filed by Clinton Police Officer Rodney Livesay, on May 5, 2023, at 9:05 a.m., Amanda Fisher went to the Clinton Police Department to report that on May 4, 2023, she found two micro SD cards in a construction trailer used by her husband, Brent.
She took the memory cards to Walgreens and placed one of the cards into one of the kiosks for looking at images and saw females in different stages of nudity. Many of the images were of young girls.
Amanda Fisher told police that her husband admitted the cards were his.

According to court documents filed in U.S. District Court, Davenport, Clinton Police obtained search warrants on May 5, 2023, for Fisher’s home, vehicle and work trailer. In the trash bin located in the garage police seized 10 SD cards. Police also seized a laptop from an upstairs closet of the home, and two additional SD cards from the trailer.
On May 24, 2023, a search warrant to examine the cards and devices that had been seized revealed more than 600 images and videos containing child pornography. In total, Fisher possessed 15 devices that contained child pornography. His cell phone showed that he had received numerous child porn images on April 29, 2023, and May 4, 2023.
The Clinton County charges were dropped Feb. 26 of this year after a federal grand jury indicted Fisher on Feb. 6 of one count each of receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Federal authorities arrested Fisher on Feb. 23. He was granted pretrial release on Feb. 27.
A trial had been scheduled for July 8. However, Fisher entered a plea of guilty on June 14 to the single charge of receipt of child pornography. The charge of possession of child pornography was dismissed in the plea agreement.
Fisher is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 24 before U.S. District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger. He faces a minimum mandatory prison sentence of five years, and a maximum prison sentence of 20 years. Fisher also faces a minimum of five years on federal supervised release and could be sentenced to life on supervised release. He also must register as a sex offender.
Fisher is being held in the custody of the U.S. Marshals pending sentencing.
