📣 We're almost there: the ban on the destruction of unsold textiles and footwear throughout the European Union will soon become law. Last month, the President of the European Parliament signed the procedure with resounding support from all member states. The new regulation, first proposed in March 2022, focuses on banning the destruction of unsold clothes, setting requirements on reliability, reuse, repair, and recycling, and introducing a digital passport for product information. 👉 What does this mean for fashion brands? While similar laws are already in effect in countries like France, this regulation will apply to all EU member states. It requires a solution to repair and resell returned goods at scale, which Reflaunt has built in partnership with our global logistics partners.
