L&S was established in 1977 in Brugnera, Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy) to meet the needs of the furniture industry. L&S quickly becomes a leading brand in the furniture lighting industry.

The building is renovated and extended: fully autonomous, thanks to an efficient photovoltaic system, the plant has a total surface area of 24,500 sqm and houses the management offices, sales department, R&D division, showroom and production and logistics plants.
L&S Germany is established, with a surface area of 7,060 sqm. Its sales activities and technological innovation focus have helped the company expand on the European market.
The Industrial segment is created. Aimed at companies seeking a partner for the ad hoc development of lighting solutions to integrate into their products.
A corporate Retail division is established to provide customers with dedicated support for the design and fitting of furnishing solutions for commercial spaces.
The US is the world's most technologically innovative country.
L&S USA, with a surface area of 1,500 sqm, is established. A passion for quality, cutting-edge research and development focus are what sets it apart.
With a view to continuous specialisation, L&S inaugurates the Museum segment, specialising in art exhibition lighting, where light quality and compliance with the strictest conservation parameters are fundamental for the success of a display project.
Last but not least is the NAVAL segment, which manufactures customized lighting systems for the interiors of cruise ships and liners.
