Tiktok's US subsidiary of the company Bytedance has decided to take the matter to the Supreme Court after the US government decided to ban it. Can the US government can do anything to prevent this, or do they have no choice but to allow the Supreme Court to accept the case?

This is more like nipicking, but the court system is technically part of the government in the US. Just another branch thereof.– got trolled too much this weekCommented May 2 at 1:58

This is probably more suitable for Law.SE. Anyone can sue anyone in the US, and the government can't prevent that. The Supreme Court however is not a trial court in this case. It will need to go through the whole chain of appeals first, and SCOTUS is not obligated to accept the case once it does reach it.
Laws and regulations are challenged in courts regularly, this is not an exception.
