About the Program
The iMSM, which is open to students from any undergraduate major, continues the Gies Business tradition of building highly engaging, flexible online programs. Students in the iMSM will take a series of fundamental management classes covering subjects such as leadership and teams, marketing management, strategic management, process management, and more. Students will also take foundational classes in accounting and finance. They will then have the opportunity to customize their degrees by taking elective courses focused on global business and business challenges, as well as data-driven decision-making and communications.
Program Format and Schedule
The iMSM will require 36 credit hours for completion – 24 of those hours will cover general management core courses. The remaining 12 hours will be electives that students choose based on their interests and career aspirations. These electives will fall into one of the following tracks: Technology Management, Marketing
General Management, International Business, Analytics, Finance, or Supply Chain Management. The program can be completed in 12-24 months.
Courses in the iMSM are interactive. Professors engage with individuals personally, and working with classmates is routine through both an online global classroom and a series of team projects. Online learning and personalized instructor feedback offer the best combination of quality and flexibility.
