About the Program
The STEM-designated Master of Business Analytics (MANA) is a career-focused program grounded in the practical application of business analytics. Students learn to apply computing, analytic and economic insight from data sets to manage, interpret, model and communicate results using industry-standard programs including Tableau, SQL, R and Python. Students acquire the skills and knowledge to analyze real-world data sets and leverage findings to make evidence-based business decisions.
Program Format and Schedule
The 36-hour MANA program can be finished in two semesters, or coursework can be spread over three semesters to allow for an internship. Individual courses offer deep dives into topics including database management, machine learning (unsupervised and supervised learning), predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, data visualization, Excel VBA, cloud computing and deep learning. Students can leverage electives to complete an optional specialization, allowing them to develop an interdisciplinary perspective and work toward specific career goals.
