Candidate:

Mr. Mechanical Engineer

About Me:

I have a bouncy job history since I graduated in 2019 — I’m a mechanical engineer with strategy experience at large tech company’s and pivoted to biotech equity research. I’m great at learning quick (basically had to teach myself biology/genetics for this current job) and have been promoted at least every year since college.

Big Life Wins:

Major win is making this pivot into biotech equity research/finance. I knew I wasn’t going to be an engineer, and knew I wanted to do something with investing/finance so transitioned as fast as I could with a few steps along the way, but it’s a win for me to get here.
I’ve run two marathons in the past year (NYC/Boston) and raised over $10,000.

Post MBA Goal:

Would love to continue in some sort of investing role but my real desire is to be an operator down the road. I’m really interested in the search fund space and that’s my primary goal, but also I’d be a natural fit at a biopharma company, and as a last resort consulting.
