💡𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩... according to data from the Ministry of Health in 2022, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝟐.𝟏 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬. This accounts for almost 40% of all reported incidents. These calls did not require EMS intervention. This is not only a significant cost to the budget but, more importantly, it occupies the rescue teams, preventing them from attending to legitimate calls that save patients' health and lives. The advanced fall and fainting detection algorithm in the SiDLY medical wristband recorded nearly 3,000 such cases among seniors just in 2023. This is not only an impressive number but also a significant step towards increasing safety and quality of care for those in need of support. According to the research, falls are the leading cause of fatal injuries among individuals over 65 years old. Death after a fall is most often a result of immediate complications rather than the fall itself. Approximately 2/3 of falls occur in the morning or evening when there are no third parties nearby who can provide assistance quickly. Thanks to the automatic fall notification technology, we can effectively respond to emergency situations almost immediately when they occur. Increasing the scale of telecare wristband users can significantly reduce mortality rates associated with falls among older, isolated, and support-needing individuals.
