 📢 We are thrilled to share the exciting news from the NagrodyPSIK (PSIK Awards)!   🏆 The investment secured by our portfolio company, Alokai (previously Vue Storefront), has been recognized as the 2023 Deal of the Year! This prestigious award underscores the transformative impact of Alokai's vision on the global ecommerce market. As a reminder, Movens Capital (together with SMOK Ventures) invested in the company in a seed round in 2021. In 2023, the company raised $20 million - the largest financing round in #Poland first half of 2023. This translated into a 15x increase in the company's valuation compared to the seed round. Currently, the Alokai solution is used by nearly 3,000 online stores worldwide. Congratulations to the Alokai team and the other finalists: Contec S.A., Piwik PRO and Telemedi - Digital Health Platform & Telehealth Provider!   In addition, Movens Capital was recognized as one of the four finalists for the #VCFund of the Year award. We are proud that our support for the best Polish/CEE companies has been awarded by the VC/PE industry. 📢 Summary of 2023 at Movens Capital   📌 Our portfolio experienced strong growth, with the total revenues of our companies in 2022 increasing 2.1 times in 2023. 📌 We invested in six new companies led by founders from Poland, Ukraine and the Czech Republic. 📌 Movens Capital completed an exit from fintech Fenige, achieving a 4.5-fold return on invested capital.
