In our most recent Prosumer Report, we found that 88% of Filipino Prosumers feel more empowered to speak up for what is right because of the support of the communities that they belong to. These communities, built on shared values and mutual respect, are providing a platform for Filipinos to find their voice and advocate for important issues in society. This is important: This phenomenon allows marginalized voices in society to be heard and it also allows for richer, more inclusive dialogues on important matters that affect our society. The strength and solidarity found in these communities are fostering a new era of activism and engagement. Filipino Prosumers are banking on the power of collective support to address pressing issues, challenge injustices, and drive positive change. This is a testament to the transformative power of communities in shaping a more just, more equitable, and more inclusive society. For brands and companies, this trend underscores the critical need to listen more closely, more intently, and more purposefully to their consumers. Building meaningful relationships with Filipino consumers requires an understanding and appreciation of their voices and their values. By engaging and supporting these empowered communities, brands can foster trust, loyalty, and a deeper connection with their audiences.
