Emma Stone snagged a keepsake from her milestone appearance on Saturday Night Live — and she has no regrets.

In December 2023, the Oscar award-winning actress, 35, hosted the late-night sketch show for the fifth time and joined the "Five-Timers Club." Like many of the legendary performers inducted, she was presented with a special jacket at the end of her opening monologue that she didn't think she'd be expected to return.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, Stone revealed that she was shocked to learn that she wouldn't be going home with the special garment.

"That's what's so strange," she explained. “I don’t wanna blow up their spot because, again, it’s my favorite place, but they don’t want you to keep the jacket. It’s like, a thing!”

When host Jimmy Fallon explained that the Five-Timers Club was more of an ongoing "sketch" rather than an official celebration, Stone recalled how she was told something similar when she shared her plans to keep it.

“They’re like, ‘You know you’re not keeping the jacket. You’re just wearing it for the monologue,’” she said. “I was like, ‘No. I’ll be taking it with me, I’ll be wearing it to [the] after-party, and I’ll be taking it home.’”

“And I did take it home,” she giggled sheepishly before announcing, “And now, it’s in my closet! That’s right! But they also know where to find me."

In her opening monologue, Stone was joined by Tina Fey and Candice Bergen as she became the youngest member of the club at 35 years old. After cracking jokes about installing a "whole women's section" and sharing how it's become a “big luxurious place to cry," Fey slipped the coveted velvet, purple and black jacket onto Stone's shoulders, who wore with it a grin from ear to ear.

“This is amazing,” she beamed. “Honestly, this has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. And it means so much that I get to share this moment with you guys. So thank you.”
