Kathryn Hahn Attempts to Build a Coven as She Tackles the Witches Road in First Agatha All Along Trailer

The new series picks up after Agatha is left powerless thanks to the Scarlet Witch

She's back!

The first trailer for the long-awaited series starring Kathryn Hahn's beloved WandaVision character, Agatha "Agness" Harkness, is finally here, and fortunately for fans, the wait for Agatha All Along appears to be worthwhile.

In the teaser trailer, released July 8, Agatha is back on detective duty and finds herself drawn to the Jane Doe she discovers — who just might change everything.

"Is this really how you see yourself?" Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza) asks Agatha as the trailer begins. "That witch is gone. Leaving you trapped in her distorted spell. Claw your way out."

Agatha admits she misses the "glory days" before the Scarlett Witch a.k.a. Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) "took every bit of power I had," but she "can beat her again."

Her plan is to "walk the Witches' Road," which Lilia Calderu (Patti LuPone) warns her is a "death wish," and later, Lilia questions: "What witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness' coven?"

"I'm not looking for right-minded witches, as it happens," Agatha quips.

According to the official logline, the series will see Agatha "down and out of power after the suspicious goth teen helps break her free from a distorted spell."

"Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing," the logline continues. "Together, Agatha and this mysterious teen pull together a desperate coven and set off down, down, down The Road."

Along with Hahn, Plaza and LuPone, Joe LockeSasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp and Miles Gutierrez-Riley also star in the new series, which is a spinoff to 2021's widely popular series WandaVision, and picks up following the events of its predecessor.

In WandaVision, Wanda Maximoff and Vision (Paul Bettany) were hiding out and trying to live a normal life in a New Jersey suburb after the events of 2019's Avengers: Endgame.

The pair soon suspected something awry in their idyllic neighborhood, and Hahn's character, who was called Agnes in the series, was revealed to be a powerful witch named Agatha, who helmed from the Salem Witch Trials.

"It is hilarious, but it also goes very surprisingly deep," Hahn, 50, told TVLine in May of how the spinoff compares to WandaVision. “It's very sophisticated. I think everyone’s going to respond to it and maybe grab hold of something that they really — like in WandaVision — weren’t expecting."
