Jenny Nguyen’s women’s sports-focused bar, the Sports Bra, is expanding its reach with the launch of a global ambassador program in partnership with the Women’s Sports Foundation and its first international pop-up.

Project: Wander Bra will build a community based on girls’ and women’s sports fandoms through ambassadors who will offer grassroots perspectives and engage with fans from diverse cultural backgrounds. June 30 is the final day to submit an application. The bar is also hosting a pop-up in Cannes this week as part of the Cannes Lions Festival — the Women’s Sports House will feature speakers from the business and sports industries, and the Sports Bra will serve its signature cocktails. Earlier this year, the Sports Bra announced an investment from Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian’s 776 Foundation that will help in its efforts to franchise nationally.

The former Raven and Rose house is up for sale

The Victorian-era Ladd Carriage House formerly home to restaurant and bar Raven and Rose is on the market for $3.2 million. The 7,061-square-foot building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has an open kitchen with a wood-fired oven, a pastry kitchen, office space, and more. Raven and Rose owner Lisa Mygrant closed her restaurant in November 2021.

The Love Shack has opened an outdoor patio

G-Love sister bar the Love Shack has opened an outdoor lounge that is available for walk-ins only and seats between 14 to 24 diners. Here, patrons can enjoy summer cocktails like the Come Sail Away (whiskey, kabosu, pineapple Campari, orgeat) and the Somewhere Over the Rainbow (hibiscus-infused bourbon, orange, pineapple, grenadine).
