Commencement

Each year, we hold formal ceremonies to recognize and honor candidates for graduation. Our ceremonies celebrate the culmination of years of hard work and financial investment for students. Graduates celebrate their academic accomplishments during commencement with students, families, friends, and the JWU community.

College of Professional Studies graduates are invited to participate in our commencement ceremonies.* Undergraduate and graduate studies graduates can participate in either Providence or Charlotte campuses, and doctoral graduates can participate in Providence.

To participate in our commencement ceremonies, please submit an online graduation application, available through jwuLink for eligible graduates, indicating the semester you will complete your degree requirements.

*Participation in commencement does not mean that you have graduated. You must satisfy all graduation requirements before receiving a diploma.
