Joseph F. Santell Jr., 59, of Rutledge Road Pymatuning Township, Transfer, passed away following a brief illness Sunday morning, July 7, 2024, at UPMC Shenango Valley.
He was born in Greenville June 19, 1965, to Joseph F. Santell Sr. and Gracie M. (Clark) Gibbs.
Joe was a 1984 graduate of Reynolds High School and had been employed for 33 years as a logistics specialist in the shipping and receiving department of Reynolds Services.
He had previously been employed for five years at Rinella Lumber.
He attended First Church of God, Greenville, and was a member of the Greenville Italian Home Club and was a former member of the Greenville Family Moose Lodge 276, where he had been active with the Moose Riders.
Joe enjoyed riding his CAN-AM motorcycle, hunting, and traveling.
On July 10, 2023, he married Laura L. Parola, who survives. Also surviving is his father, Joseph F. Santell Sr. of Greenville; sister Melissa Johnston of Greenville; stepdaughter, Tiffany Johnson of Greenville; step-grandson, Nathaniel Okhtokiyuk; and nephew Brook Santell of Stoneboro, who looked up to Joe as a father figure.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Joe would say thank you for blessing his life with your friendship and to remember to live in the moment.

Plant a tree: How does it work

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.

An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.

After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.

Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.

June - December

Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
