With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Roger Stade Jr, a cherished husband, father, uncle, and friend, who left us on June 6, 2024. His departure has left a void in our lives that can never be filled.
Born on March 14, 1939, Roger was a man of unwavering integrity, kindness, and dedication. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of everyone around him with his gentle demeanor and humor. He was known for his infectious laughter, his wisdom in times of need, and his ability to always see the good in others.
Roger was a devoted man to his country above all else. His love for cars was evident in everything he did. He was supportive in guiding us through life's challenges with patience and understanding. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled in us and the memories we hold dear.
Professionally, Roger served his Country as a Seaman in the United States Coast Guard and enjoyed a successful career in the Automobile Industry where his hard work and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His passion for restoring cars and supporting animals causes was contagious, and he shared that passion generously with those around him.
In his leisure time, Roger found joy in playing Bingo and Rummikub always finding solace in the simple pleasures of life. He had a curious mind and an adventurous spirit, which led him and his wife Myra to enjoy many cruises and adventures.
Roger was preceded in death by his wonderful wife Myra on January 3, 2022 and will be deeply missed by his daughter Elizabeth, his son Roger lll, niece Mary Ann,, as well as his extended family and friends. His legacy of love, compassion, and strength will continue to inspire us all.
Roger will be laid to rest at Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Las Vegas Valley Humane Society, a cause close to his heart.
Though we mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Roger is at peace, surrounded by the love of God and his beautiful wife Myra. His spirit will forever reside in our hearts, guiding us and watching over us until we meet again.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
