With the recent news on hydrogen and sustainability projects in NZ and Australia, it's easy to feel slightly disheartened about the outlook for sustainability and energy transition projects. But what if we viewed these setbacks as indicators of progress and signaling opportunities for investment and future growth?

Our CTO, Jérôme Leveneur completed his PhD with The University of Auckland. The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has done this amazing write up on Bspkl and Jerome's work :)
Bspkl is New Zealand’s pioneering hydrogen deep-tech start-up, bringing the world one step closer to making hydrogen production more sustainable for a range of applications for everything from manufacturing to transport. Currently hydrogen production is estimated to be responsible for more than 2% of global emission as it is produced using fossil fuels as a chemical feedstock. Bspkl recently secured $2.8 million in funding, marking a major success in their quest to make hydrogen production more sustainable. Co-founder Jérôme Leveneur says that the support of team members Christina Houlihan and supporters such as Maria Jose (MJ) Alvarez, WNT Ventures, The University of Auckland, The MacDiarmid Institute, New Zealand Product Accelerator and others have been invaluable in their quest to devise energy innovations.
