Appreciate donations for this very worthy cause. Very lucky to have this service available in Canterbury. Many thanks…!
Our training has commenced!! The 2degrees & Cholmondeley Children's Centre Fit for a Cause 24-hour fundraising event is approaching! We have put a combined team of Argonauts together from us, Argus Heating, and Argus ManuTech. We have started raising money and would greatly appreciate any donations towards this worthwhile cause. Cholmondeley provides emergency respite care for children and families in the Canterbury region. They are a community funded charity and need our help to continue to provide amazing support to the children of Canterbury. Our operations team have been busy implementing IND4.0 under the expert guidance from LMAC and Dsifer through a program developed for Callaghan Innovation. We would encourage others to take the opportunity to utilise this program and develop your own productivity benefits. The SIRI benchmarking tool is a fantastic way to quickly determine where effort should return greatest gains.
Great to see Argus ManuTech featured in this months Advanced Manufacturing Aotearoa newsletter: https://lnkd.in/gp8bVHVX It has been fantastic to partner with the team at Argus ManuTech on their advanced manufacturing transformation journey. Check out this recent EMA webinar with GM Operations Nathan Hay and Manufacturing Engineering Manager Duncan White on their journey so far. Ignite 4.0

As the warmth of the southern hemisphere summer approaches, we will be shutting down over the new year period to rest and rejuvenate in preparation for an exciting 2024! We will be closed from the 23rd of December 2023 and returning on the 15th of January 2024. During this period, our offices will be closed, and our team will be taking some time off to rest, recharge, and spend time with their loved ones. We look forward to reconnecting with everyone in 2024! Wishing you a fantastic break!

Our monthly townhall event is a chance for the business to get together as a whole and celebrate our high achieving Argonauts. We also had a group of gentlemen grow their moustaches over November in the spirit of "Movember" to raise awareness for men's health. Some were very impressive, and some needed a close eye to see! A big thankyou to all the Argonauts that took part. #movember2023

Yesterday we had a fantastic group of Christchurch manufacturers visit the Argus HQ for a tour around our facility and to learn about our advancement into Industry 4.0 We showcased our factory, discussed our recent completion of the SIRI assessment, and how feedback from our staff was a big driver in making decisions around the implementation of Industry 4.0 manufacturing methods. We would like to say thank you to all those who made it, to LMAC and the EMA for your help with organizing the event, and a big thanks to all the Argonauts who helped out. It was great to reconnect with some of the best in the industry to share ideas and learn more about what the future holds for manufacturing in Canterbury.

Experience Christchurch – Christchurch: A Manufacturing Hub for Technical Products Discover the many advantages of making Christchurch your go-to hub for technical product manufacturing. Our city is blessed with robust and well-connected businesses, offering multiple services such as technical design, metal work, electronics and includes wiring harnesses from Argus CableTech. Furthermore, we benefit from the support of local institutions such as CECC, MakeNZ, ChristchurchNZ, University of Canterbury and Lincoln University, which grant us access to invaluable knowledge and resources to make product development processes more efficient and cost-effective. This thriving ecosystem is appreciated by Mark Hewitt, GM of Argus CableTech: “We’re lucky to have so many brilliant minds here in Canterbury who can collaborate on complex projects. We’ve seen time and again how our collective problem-solving abilities allow us to develop creative solutions for any technical product manufacturing needs you may have.” Christchurch is home to many companies that specialise in engineering products.
