We’re nearing the end of day two of Amazon’s annual Prime Day sale, and the deals keep coming. Like many of you, I spent yesterday stocking up on a mix of gifts and boring-but-necessary household essentials like diapers, wipes, and hand soap. But professionally, over on the kid and baby beat, I noticed a bunch of very good deals on bigger ticket items, like strollers and car seats. There were fewer discounted Lego sets than I expected, but lots of excellent toys from Melissa & Doug, Magna-Tiles, Lovevery, and Crayola. I also saw many back-to-school deals on essentials like sneakers, lunch boxes, and water bottles. I’m back today with renewed energy to help you cut through the endless scroll of on-sale products and zero in on what’s really worth your attention.
The below list is limited to only the best deals on products that are at least 20 percent off (though a lot of the deals are even better), and I’ve organized the list by age group. Many of the items below are things that I own or have personally tested; most everything else is something we’ve written about before, as recommended by cool parents, educators, and kids themselves, or comes from a brand we trust.

The Deals I Personally Think Are the Best
I’ve spent the last couple years testing and writing about toys and baby gear. I’m also a parent, and my 18-month-old son has done his fair share of testing toys and gear as well. Based on that experience and the conversations I’ve had with smart and stylish parents over the years, there are six Prime Day deals I would check out first: Magna-Tiles are a wonderful open-ended building toy that is rarely discounted this much (they’re a good deal any time they’re less than $1 a tile); Baby Jogger’s City Mini GT2 stroller is tough yet smooth to push with a truly effortless one-hand fold; LEGO Duplo sets can be enjoyed by toddlers, but bigger kids love them too; Lalo’s high chair is one of my most essential pieces of baby gear and, because it’s convertible, something my son will be able to use for years; Avenlur’s splurge-worthy 5-in-1 toddler “gym” is a great get for this price; and Graco’s Extend2Fit convertible car seat has double cupholders and ten headrest/harness positions, and it can stay rear-facing longer than most other seats.
Babies and 1-year-olds
Here’s a very popular deal on a big box of my favorite baby wipes. (I was one of several hundred Strategist readers who bought them yesterday.)
I don’t have the freezer tray at home, but I use the Haakaa baby feeder on a daily basis to help my son with teething pain. He especially likes it filled with frozen banana, peaches, or mango.

I recently tested out a newer upgraded version of the Cybex Gazelle and was impressed by how luxurious it feels and how easy it is to fold or go from one seat to two. In my opinion, it’s a solid competitor for the Uppababy Vista stroller, and today it’s less than $600.
If you’re looking for a new car seat, like I am, this is the best Prime Day car-seat deal you’ll find. It’s an all-in-one seat so you’ll never need to buy another one. Plus, it allows you to keep your child rear-facing longer than most other car seats, which experts consider safer.
This is a great deal on the travel version of one of our favorite baby monitors. It comes with its own case and a 3-in-1 sound machine, night light, and audio monitor.
Strategist contributor Sara Gaynes Levy tested nine wearable breast pumps and named the Willow Go her favorite. (The brand’s other wearable pump, the Willow 360, also happens to be my favorite for traveling.) This deal is for a single pump, but you can also get the double set for 14 percent off.
I love our Lalo high chair for how comfortable it is, how easy it is to carry one-handed from room to room, and because it transforms into a play chair.
This little toy piano has been a top seller among Strategist parents for over three years. My own son got one for his 1st birthday and still loves playing with it six months later.
Baby Stella is an adorable soft baby doll that comes with removable clothing and a Velcro pacifier and is available in a range of diverse skin tones and hair types.
I recently switched to using all Mustela bath and body products for my son. I love the quality, but they aren’t cheap, so I’ll be stocking up during Prime Day.

2- and 3-year-olds

The Yoto Mini is more portable than a Toniebox and much less expensive, too, especially today.
