Today marks 100 days since we left ‘home’ After two incredible years working with the Head of Retail in the Netherlands (first Petri Nikkilä and then Isil Akdemir Evlioglu), it was time for a new adventure. So, I packed my bags – quite literally – and flew to the other side of the world to join ING Australia to work on their ambitious growth plans. While we’re just getting started, the journey so far has been a steep learning curve: from leaving everything behind and establishing a new daily routine, to navigating unexpected cultural differences and tackling challenges specifically to ING in Australia. A big shoutout to everyone who helped make this move possible and to those who have already made us feel at home. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to grow and work for a company that encourages stepping out of comfort zones. Here’s to new experiences and growth!

First day back in the home-office after having performed the ING Cabaret and still buzzing off all the incredible responses. Big thanks to ING - and Petri Nikkilä specifically- to keep this tradition alive. The usual 5 months of acting-, singing- and dancelessons turned into 32 months (983 days) due to reasons I don’t need to explain. That is how we, not completely voluntary, became the cabaret of 2020, 2021 ánd 2022. Although keeping it a secret and practising every weekend was tough at times, the response from the audience was all totally worth it. Shoutout to: Irene Lecluse, Dominique Woltil-De Cleir, Tim Bakers, Manon van Willenswaard, Annika Schijf, Sibel Batman & Martijn de Wilde
