Job Description

As the Senior HR Business Partner of our Eastern Europe Business Unit (BU) , you will partner with internal business stakeholders to help them achieve their objectives within the business strategy, providing strategic HR expertise and fostering a positive employee experience. You are expected to champion the company’s values through strong leadership and inspirational behavior.

The position, located in Amsterdam is reporting to the Managing Director, and part of the Business Unit Leadership team.

You will join a rapidly expanding business within a truly international team, operating in a fast-paced environment.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Provide professional leadership, support and development to your leadership team, in order to develop a high performing team and deliver the BU objectives.
  • Manage the execution of the HR Strategy including Recruitment, people/ talent development, Employee Engagement, learning & development, payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining HR system (workday) and management of the HR budget.
  • Drive the continuous improvement agenda focusing on engagement activities, maximizing productivity, empowering line managers in people management and building leadership capability.
  • Strengthen within your BU our company culture everyday,
  • Regularly coach, mentor and support senior and high potential colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention.
  • Ensure managers are sufficiently skilled and enabled to access appropriate guidance and information to manage their team.
  • Ensure that the BU complies with current regulations, internal policies & procedures and legislation.

Experiences And Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner experience, in an international environment; FMCG is a plus
  • Experience in strategic planning, people management and HR practices
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skills, relationship building and team player
  • Ability to coach and advice senior stakeholders
  • Autonomous & pro-active, ability to switch between stepping back for the bigger picture and stepping-in to roll up your sleeves
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience in dealing with different cultures, adaptability and flexibility.
