The ideal candidate for our client well known software development company entering the EMEA operations market from Netherland center will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
  • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
  • Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent

  • Leading all HR operations within the company (recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, discipline and grievances; planning, monitoring, appraising)
  • Leading and appreciating new HR-related projects within the company
  • Providing relevant strategic insights and advice to business leaders on all HR and people-related subjects
  • Leveraging strong business knowledge and understanding to partners
  • Developing HR operations financial strategies
  • Taking a proactive approach regarding employee relation matters, employee improvement and involvement
  • Motivating the HR team by setting challenging but achievable goals
  • Partners with business leaders to create and drive human capital strategy for specific areas of the business, in alignment with the overall business strategy.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develops and ensures effective implementation of plans, systems, policies, and processes for talent management, succession planning and leadership development, employee engagement.

Talent Development:

  • Designs and oversees training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Identifies high-potential employees and creates career development paths.

Leadership Development:

  • Creates and implements leadership development initiatives to nurture future leaders within the organization.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to managers and executives.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Develops strategies to boost employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction.
  • Measures and analyzes employee engagement metrics.
  • Assist as needed in the administration and compliance of all the organization’s benefit programs.
  • Update and maintain company policies and procedures and ensure all employees are aware and understand the policies regarding their employment.
  • Develop HR Metrics and analysis.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on employment regulations as needed.
  • Ability to develop, analyze and manage HR budget.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required.



About You:



  • Solid experience in unifying and driving a diverse, multi-country workforce through his/her strong leadership
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years experience in a progressive human resource role, preferably in the consumer industries.
  • Hands-on leader with ability to identify priorities and deliver results efficiently in a fast paced organization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different cultures
  • Has demonstrated skills in leading cultural and organizational transformations of a comparable magnitude.
  • Has experienced M&A situations in an HR leadership role and lead the integration of purchased entities.
  • Team player with demonstrated ability to co-develop processes and tools.
  • BS degree in Business or HR, MBA preferred. Experience operating within a global company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both internally and externally, comfortable in facilitating meetings and making presentations.
  • Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business and client group, and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goals.
  • Strong knowledge of European/Dutch labor laws ad fluency in English and Dutch language required.
  • Effectively resolve conflict with a variety of stakeholders ensuring strong working relationships. Strong Employee relations experience
  • Embraces change with confidence. Mentors and coaches HR colleagues.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of organizational development/effectiveness/behavior with the ability to positively impact the structure, culture and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of both qualitative and quantitative data. Ability to recognize trends and influence leaders based on data analysis.
  • Experience supporting organizational strategy by aligning the vision, mission and values of the organization with individual goals through the performance management platform.
  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to leaders on a variety of performance-related situations or circumstances.
