Your team

You will join our small but powerful Internal Operations team as the new HR Business Partner. You will directly work with Felix, one of our co-founders who has build out our internal operations over the last 5-years. As part of the team, you will collaborate with Elsa (Recruitment & People Operations Specialist), Tais (People Operations Coordinator and Office Manager), and Tanya (Finance Generalist).

Your impact

You will closely work with SkillLab's team leads to:

• Help them grow and develop their teams strategically
• Implement and evolve our performance management system and bi-annual 360-feedback rounds,
• Address complex people issues
• Organize team lead transitions and support new team leads,
• Strengthen collaboration between teams
• Understand the strengths and development areas of team leads and coordinate leadership trainings and coaching accordingly
  
  

You will become thego-to-personfor SkillLabers to discuss and resolve confidential HR issues.

As our organization grows, you will work with Felix and leadership on strategic projects. These projects allow the organization to evolve and to better implement its strategy. Among others, these projects would focus on improving our culture, compensation system, organizational design, goal-setting system and/or policies.

Requirements

Is this you?

• You're excited about joining an impact-oriented social business
• You have experience as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or in a similar role broad HR role. You've got between 4-6 years experience in HR and 2-3 years with the Dutch employment law.
• You have solid knowledge of the Dutch employment law and regulations.
• You have experience working within diverse teams and resolving tricky people issues.
• You have high emotional intelligence, incl. self-awareness and awareness of others.
• You can showcase your ability to iteratively improve people operations processes (e.g. performance management system)

Salary, start-date & location

• We use a salary benchmark for the Dutch high-tech sector to set your salary based on your experience. We expect that the annual gross salary for the experience we are looking for ranges from 55k-70k Euro per year
• We prefer candidates who already live or will relocate to Amsterdam but we are open to people who live in a different Dutch city and will work from the office 2-3 days a week.
• We envision a start date September 2nd 2024
