Hartelijk dank aan iedereen die gisteren aanwezig was bij de Urban Sensing Lab meetup #12! Tijdens de meetup presenteerde Mark Bauling wat open source betekent en waarom het relevant is voor de deelnemers van het Urban Sensing Lab. Hij vertelde onder andere hoe hij zijn Cyrb plug-and-play multi-sensorbehuizing heeft ontwikkeld om geluidshinder in Scheveningen in kaart te brengen. De sensor is in een 3D-geprinte behuizing geplaatst, met ruimte voor additionele sensoren, zoals bijvoorbeeld fijnstof. Na de presentatie vertelden Annelies en Prisca over hun wandelingen met de fijnstofmeter. Daarbij bleken er verschillen te zijn in de hoeveelheid fijnstof in hun wijken. De rest van de deelnemers gaan nu ook meten. Het projectondersteuningsprogramma is geopend voor Urban Sensing Lab-projecten. Iedere deelnemer kan tot 9 juli een aanvraag indienen. Medio juli is de bekendmaking van de projecten die (financieel) ondersteund gaan worden.
