[Regulatory insight 🔍] The current Automatic Exchange of Information (AEoI) propagated by the OECD aims to provide a fully comprehensive worldwide directive for a regular automatic data exchange. The core element of the standard, which consists of three parts, is the so-called Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Recent changes have been made to the CRS which are referred to as CRS 2.0. [Regulatory news 📰] The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) published eight draft technical standards under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (#MiCAR) covering, inter alia, content and format of orderbooks and record-keeping by crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) and the machine readability of white papers and the register of white papers. The MiCAR white-paper data set will become part of the European Single Access Point (ESAP) and it is the third one (after ESEF reports and SFDR disclosures) mandated in iXBRL format.
