So, retailers, not regulations or science, drive demand. 👉 Awareness across the value chain is essential. ❓ How can we engage and incentivise farmers to shift away from their usual day-to-day activities and adopt more sustainable practices? 👉 Engage: Education, support networks, tools. 👉 Incentivize: Premium pay, secure agreements, financial support. 👉 De-risk: Shift risk from farmers to food companies. ❓ How can AgriTech professionals across the supply chain work together to invest in sustainable agriculture for yield-efficiency and sustainable growth? 👉 De-risk the transition: Spread risk outside of the farm. Across banks, food companies. 👉 Integrated solutions: There is a lack of data. Use AgTech precision agriculture to optimise input management, data sharing & partnering among communities is key to gather data and build a case. ❓ What steps are still needed to fully support a transition into sustainable agriculture?  👉 Finance the transition: finance steps and not only biostimulants or machines. Machines are made for conventional farms -> make machines that can help with intercropping, agroforestry etc. 👉 Knowledge support: many farmers WANT to shift, but they just don't have the knowledge. 👉 Increased consumer awareness, education, and empowerment. Trials have been done & are currently being done on olive trees, radishes, acacia trees, vineyards, fig trees, aloe vera, citrus grape fruit... you name it. What a great day at The Green Farm Collective's annual Regenerative Agriculture event, with engaging panel discussions, talks, and a true exchange of valuable insights within the field 💡 Michael Kavanagh, our UK-based Ambassador Farmer, brought together a couple hundred British farmers devoted to regenerative practices. Despite the rain, the positive mindset and collaborative spirit to work towards the same goal was inspiring to see. Regenerative farming is crucial for preserving soil quality and producing healthy crops that benefit our health. To support this, we developed StimBlue+, our seaweed biostimulant, that mimics natural processes happening inside the plant, boosting growth, resistance, and yield. Our biostimulant reduces the need for fertilizers and pesticides that are often high in cost and are very polluting to the environment, as the production of synthetic fertilizers causes significant emissions, while the leeching of these substances causes dead zones in waterways.
