Thank you for sharing Matthieu Wolff! Seven years into this important project with USAID, so great to see the impact it is creating on health care delivery in DRC. 🥁 Please look out for the IHP DRC case study that we will publish on this channel soon!
Last week, we were honored to visit the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health in DRC. During this important visit, we had the privilege of presenting our recent results achieved through the USAID IHP project in supporting the Ministry's efforts to improve the pharmaceutical supply chain. We engaged in fruitful exchanges about the Ministry's future priorities and explored potential avenues to build upon what has been accomplished under the leadership of the government, both at national and provincial levels. We're excited about the positive impact our activities continue to make, together with our partners, in healthcare delivery in DRC and look forward to building on this momentum. Great pictures from Uganda, where i+solutions’ oxygen team and partners are working on site preparation for a skid mounted double PSA plant at 4 different regional hospitals. The simultaneous work in Hoima, Lira, Mbale, Mbarare, which started some 8 weeks ago, is progressing fast thanks to the amazing collaboration with the Ministry of Health - Uganda, local construction partner BHL and supplier Sinopharm. The plants will provide not only oxygen, but also medical air and vacuum, serving not only the 4 mentioned regional hospitals! Clinics in the region will be able to fill their cylinders near and fast, which is crucial to satisfy local demand. The commissioning of all 4 sites is expected already at the beginning of September. We are proud of our team and partners who navigate flexibly on this challenging path and are managing design and construction of the site and installation of the plants in less than 5 months! Since 2021, i+solutions procures medical Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) oxygen plants on behalf of The Global Fund for hospitals in low and middle income countries. We expanded our services to delivering turn-key medical oxygen PSA plant solutions, supporting the in-country stakeholders with site preparation activities such as design and construction. A few years into the project, we are now delivering hundreds of PSA plants to over 50 countries. Flavio Cerro Frank Rammeloo #oxygen #pandemicpreparedness #everybreathcounts

From 7 to 9 May, the 2024 Industry Engagement Forum on Access to Health Innovation, organized by the Government of Nigeria, the African Development Bank Group, the IFC - International Finance Corporation and Unitaid was held in Lagos, Nigeria. The overall goal of the event was to promote access to health innovation as a significant enable of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Wesley Kreft, COO of i+solutions, was part of a group of esteemed panellists from other health tech companies and the World Bank (see listed below) at the session about Digitization, Artificial Intelligence and Market Data – Opportunities for Equitable Access and Regional Manufacturing. The session aimed to showcase emerging digitization capabilities and the use of artificial intelligence to harness market data in Africa. Wesley spoke about the opportunities that marketplace platforms like XS2Meds (XS2Meds.org) offer to allow local manufacturers to sell their products across the continent. At the same time, these platforms offer the opportunity to digitize supply chains and collect market data, valuable for manufacturers as they develop their R&D pipeline and regulatory strategy. He also stated that “Artificial Intelligence has the possibility to simplify the exchange of data and enhance supply chain efficiencies.” 💡 What is your view on AI as an enabler of health innovation? Feel free to comment on Wesley's statement.
