They also learnt the art of pitching their business ideas, in preparation for the bootcamp's pitch competition. Today, we're reflecting on the impact created through the PME Covid19 Relief Program, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. PME was launched with the aim of uplifting migrants, repatriates, and internally displaced individuals through entrepreneurship! Thanks to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH's sponsorship, we trained 750 participants, empowering them with entrepreneurial skills, financial support, and startup kits—ranging from laptops and printers to sewing machines and cameras. Notably, 45% have found employment, and an IDP camp in Abuja now boasts an out-of-camp store, a shared workspace for beneficiaries producing and selling goods across Nigeria.
