The Day-2 of the ICC Nigeria Arbitration Days, which took place at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, also focused on ‘Harnessing the Prospects of Arbitration and ADR in Emerging Hubs’, and was also replete with insightful sessions and useful discussions based on considered, intelligent thinking, providing a practical treatment of the subject of discourse and an invaluable first reference point for any think-tank seeking solutions to the challenges plaguing the use/roles of Arbitration in the Nigerian major business sectors. While Day-1 had a team of distinguished, expert panels- united by scholarship and a great breadth of research- set the tone for a landmark Arbitration event, Day-2 crescendoed with the exploration of key issues and solutions of unimpaired value offered by Arbitration experts such as the Learned Silks, Godwin Omoaka, SAN, FCIArb, Dr. Babatunde Ajibade, SAN and Isaiah Bozimo SAN, to mention a few. Once again, I am thrilled to share a recent achievement on this platform🎉🥳 I began my internship with Hon. Justice Innocent Umezulike Foundation, on the 17th day of May, an incredibly impactful and enriching experience it was. All three sessions, led by the phenomenal Dr Cynthia Chisom Umezulike, Ikechukwu Uzoma, Esq and His Worship, Emmanuel J. Samaila, were remarkable. More Interestingly, I was awarded BEST IN PROFESSIONALISM AND COMMUNICATION amongst the 100 participants! This is a huge milestone, and I know there is more. Glory to God for the wisdom to have gone the extra mile that brought this award. I am grateful to Babatunde I.G. Lawal (Big Law) for proper tutelage and guide. I learned effective communication skills during my very first internship with HARLEM Solicitors. This award is heartily dedicated to Harlem!
