Thriving off the tremendous energy and darting intellect derived from the just-concluded, groundbreaking 1st ICC Nigeria Arbitration Days event, our Associate, Favour Awemakinde, pens a swoonworthy, engrossing article, "Arbitration and Emerging Legal Issues in Nigeria: Addressing Challenges and Opportunities". Favour's article begins dazzlingly with arbitrable and non-arbitrable disputes and elegantly morphs into searchlight being beamed on the challenges besetting Arbitration in the Nigerian business sectors, an especial strength of the experts and panelists' areas of concern and discussion during the International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria's landmark, well-attended Arbitration event in Lagos. HARLEM Solicitors reposted this
Once again, I am thrilled to share a recent achievement on this platform🎉🥳 I began my internship with Hon. Justice Innocent Umezulike Foundation, on the 17th day of May, an incredibly impactful and enriching experience it was. All three sessions, led by the phenomenal Dr Cynthia Chisom Umezulike, Ikechukwu Uzoma, Esq and His Worship, Emmanuel J. Samaila, were remarkable. More Interestingly, I was awarded BEST IN PROFESSIONALISM AND COMMUNICATION amongst the 100 participants! This is a huge milestone, and I know there is more. Glory to God for the wisdom to have gone the extra mile that brought this award. I am grateful to Babatunde I.G. Lawal (Big Law) for proper tutelage and guide. I learned effective communication skills during my very first internship with HARLEM Solicitors. This award is heartily dedicated to Harlem! A heartfelt gratitude to the Foundation for the privilege to learn and grow. Many thanks to my Mentor, Faith Kumekor, who never ceases to bring opportunities like this my way. Thank you! I am incredibly grateful to my fellow interns who made this experience even more worthwhile, Stephanie Ezeugwu, Ugochi Amajuoyi, Aondo Ngutor Keep pushing forward – see you all at the top.
