The Lirio Breaks Ground At 364 West 54th Street In Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

The Hudson Companies and Housing Works recently celebrated groundbreaking for The Lirio, a mixed-use development located at 364 West 54th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The project will transform a vacant parking lot into 112 permanently affordable homes, office space for the MTA, and neighborhood retail space. It was designed by CetraRuddy and is being built in partnership with the New York City Department of Housing Preservation & Development, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and other partners.The Lirio will provide 67 units of supportive housing for formerly homeless individuals, including 59 units targeted for long-term survivors of HIV/AIDS, 44 affordable homes for families earning between 30 and 120 percent of area median income, and one superintendent unit. Beyond that, the property will be home to approximately 30,000 square feet of office space for the MTA and retail space along Ninth Avenue.

Classic Car Club Signs 60,000-Square-Foot Lease At 645 11th Avenue In Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Avison Young recently arranged a 20-year deal to relocate the Classic Car Club, a private automotive club in Manhattan, to 645 11th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The new space, which will be the organization’s new flagship clubhouse, will span more than 60,000 square feet across four floors and the roof of the historic former automotive dealership.

The Ellery Nears Completion At 312 West 43rd Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Construction is almost finished on The Ellery, a 33-story mixed-use tower at 312 West 43rd Street on the southern border of Hell’s Kitchen in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by National Real Estate Advisors and Taconic Partners, the 401-foot-tall structure will yield 330 rental units in studio to two-bedrooms layouts, as well as 28,000 square feet of amenities and up to 42,000 square feet of retail space spread across two levels. The property is located between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, directly north of the Port Authority Bus Terminal and its subway station, servicing the A, C, and E trains.

Permits Filed for 509 West 48th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan

Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building with affordable housing at 509 West 48th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. Located between 10th and 11th Avenues, the lot is closest to the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the C and E trains. Douglaston Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
