The Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery in the Staller Center will feature artwork by Stony Brook University students this April. The undergraduate Senior Show 2023 and the URECA Student Art Exhibition will be on view together beginning Saturday, April 22.
The annual Senior Show 2023 presents work by Stony Brook University senior art majors and minors, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, prints, photographs, digital and video pieces, mixed-media installations and works on paper. The show will be on view from April 22 through May 18.
The URECA Student Art Exhibition features nearly 30 student artists in a group show composed of distinct expressive voices using a variety of media. Sponsored by Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URECA) and featured as part of the Shirley Strum Kenny Student Arts Festival, this exhibition has juried awards and distinctions presented at a reception by the Office of the Dean of Students and the Director of Gallery North. The reception will be held Tuesday, April 25, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
Exhibitions and all events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, from noon to 4 pm; the gallery is also open one hour before and during the intermission of most Staller Center performances and films. Visit the Zuccaire Gallery website for more information.
