Delta will add 100 state-of-the-art, fuel-efficient Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to its fleet, with options for 30 more. The aircraft, which will begin delivery in 2025, is the 737-10, the largest model in the MAX family.
Delta’s announcement of new state-of-the-art aircraft from Boeing and Airbus, a significant milestone toward the airline’s sustainability goals, as well as a major next-generation engine service agreement with CFM International were among the show’s highlights.
The service agreement was made in conjunction with Delta’s order for 100 next-generation Boeing 737-10 aircraft, which will be powered by the LEAP-1B engine.
