Zimmerli Art Museum

Asian American Cultural Center
Events, guest speakers, and cultural programs expand multicultural education for Asian-American and Asian students.

Festivals
Rutgers Day
Alumni, friends, family, and visitors participate in the day’s activities, which include Ag Field Day and the New Jersey Folk Festival.
New Jersey Film Festival
Rutgers students with a passion for film can take in screenings, participate in discussions, and help plan the festival.
New Jersey Folk Festival
The oldest continuously running folk festival in New Jersey takes place each year at Rutgers–New Brunswick with music, food, and crafts. The festival is managed by undergraduates.
Rutgers Jewish Film Festival
The festival showcases films from the past and present that are rooted in Jewish culture, covering all genres, including documentaries and dramas.
Student Performances
More than 500 times a year, Mason Gross School of the Arts features world premieres, international guest artists, experimental art shows and performances by up-and-coming musicians, actors, and dancers. Will one of them be you? Tickets are remarkably inexpensive, often free: Ready to join in?
Dance
Express yourself through dance at Rutgers, working toward an undergraduate degree from Mason Gross School of the Arts or simply enjoying free time with a student group in hip-hop or Middle Eastern traditions.
Music
Music is all around at Rutgers. Students can perform with the Opera Theater Rutgers or get the crowd pumping before tip-off as part of the pep band.
Ensemble participation is a fundamental part of education in the music programs at Mason Gross. There are a variety of choral, jazz, orchestral, wind bands, and small ensembles in addition to opera theatre.
Song/Vocals
Raise your voice in a vocal program at the Mason Gross School of the Arts or one of the many student organizations with styles from pitch-perfect acapella to contemporary to gospel.
Theatre & Performing Arts
Follow your center-stage dreams, call the shots as director, or design fabulous sets. You’ll also find university programs for comedy, improv, and cabaret.
