Key findings from a new global dataset developed by UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and The World Bank – detailing the value & volume of physical trade, including costs and transport effort for imports / exports across over 170 economies.     Interestingly, the recently launched dataset reveals that developing countries exert twice the transport effort per dollar of trade compared to their developed counterparts.

#France is now officially the latest major economy to legally recognize #digital #title #documents such as electronic Bills of Lading (#eBLs), recently adopting its own #MLETR-aligned #law! Next up, we’re eagerly awaiting the publication of the French Government’s #decree on #reliable #systems, so that we can be certified as reliable under French law alongside our certifications for #Singapore and #UK law. #ICE #CargoDocs supports eBLs governed by the law of any country which has enacted MLETR or an equivalent law – providing the industry’s first truly scalable MLETR-enabled eBL solution.
