Job Vacancy: Junior Structural Engineer Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Junior & Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Structural Engineer at DeMicoli & Associates, you will play a key role in designing and analysing various structures, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities: • Conduct structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. • Evaluate existing structures for potential renovations or upgrades. • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution. • Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices. • Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary. • Assist in the development of project proposals and budgets. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff. Qualifications: • Masters degree in Structural Engineering. • Warrant Holder to practise the profession. • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in structural analysis including foundation design. • Proficiency in structural analysis Finite element Software - Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis, Tekla Structural Designer & Master Series • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, Boq’s and specifications. • Must be a good team player with excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
