ROUND 1 - Rockhold opens southpaw, Jardine is orthodox. Jardine throwing inside and outside leg kicks early. Jardine eats a middle kick and clinches. Jardine looking for a high crotch but can't get it. Rockhold pressing Jardine into the fence and as Jardine breaks away is nailed with an elbow. Spinning back kick lands perfectly on Jardine. Jardine fires off a right hand and it lands clean. Jardine switching stances and landing hard kicks to the outside of Rockhold's legs. Rockhold lands a hard right and Jardine is temporarily hurt, but recovers quickly. However, Rockhold quickly lands a right hand that hurts Jardine and he pounces. Jardine hangs on for a few more strikes and even stands for a time, but arguably a late stoppage by referee Dean.
