As I conclude my tenure as Chapter Chair, I am filled with immense gratitude and achievement. Being the youngest chapter chair in our chapter's history is a milestone I will deeply cherish, and leading YPO Singapore, has been an honour beyond words, made possible by our incredible members and my supportive EXCO. Thank you Su-Yen Wong 黄素燕 my co-chair and partner for the last 3 years, my wife Crystal Ong who agreed to serve together with me on the board, and all my friends Amit Dhupelia, ashok melwani, Alan Hepburn, Anuj Lal, bernard oh, Charles Stacey, Deborah Widjaja, Dominic Stekly, Guillaume Levy-Lambert, CHNG Hak Peng, Jaelle Ang, Jasper Camacho, Jonathan Schiff, Ng Nichol, Raj Mitta, Sumitra Pasupathy, & Vivek Agarwal, who said yes. It has been a privilege to serve alongside each of you. Thank you for the friendship, support, and service to the chapter.
Many have asked why I decided to serve for so many years. The truth is, the more you give to YPO, the more you will get out of it. Being Chair has taught me invaluable corporate experience which I otherwise have little experience being part of a family business. Chairing the executive committee of YPO SG is one of the more challenging yet rewarding experiences. I enjoyed meeting remarkable people from around the region, including attending GLC Istanbul and connecting with other chapter chairs around the region.
YPO has stretched me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to pursue interests and learn about topics I would not have naturally explored. Thank you for the opportunity to serve. I will always treasure the memories and experiences we've shared.
