CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Following severe weather activity on Tuesday, there is yet another threat Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.

The Tri-State was under a tornado warning for several hours on Tuesday night with one radar-confirmed tornado reported in Clinton County and an EF1 tornado that touched down in Franklin County in Indiana.

The National Weather Service was surveying damage in Warren County and in Butler County (Reily Township).

But that is not the end for severe weather risks. Wednesday starts out quiet, but the chances for more thunderstorms will ramp up again in the evening as storms arrive from the southwest around 8 p.m. through midnight.

The Storm Prediction Center has all of the area in a level 2 out of 5 or "Slight" risk. Again, damaging winds is the main threat followed by large hail and even possible tornadoes.

Some showers look to linger into Thursday, especially early in the day before calmer conditions take over. Ready for a break? Friday is your day but it will be cooler with highs only in the 60s. Rain and storms return Saturday but it does look better for Mother's Day on Sunday.
