CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Impactful rain and storms have returned to the Tri-State, with a wet Wednesday morning and increased chances for showers to become strong or severe later in the evening.

The main threat from these storms, expected from roughly 7 p.m. until midnight, would be damaging winds, hail and heavy rain. While the threat for any tornadoes looks really low, it's not zero.

After midnight, some showers and storms may linger. The threat for severe weather drops, but some areas may get heavier rain and some flash flooding going into Thursday morning.

Another system brings some more scattered showers and storms on Friday before the rain and storm chances dip (but don't go away completely) on Saturday. Once again, Sunday and Monday look active with chances for more showers and storms. So if your plans take you outdoors for the holiday weekend, have a "Plan B" especially on Sunday and Monday.
