CINCINNATI (WKRC) - There's soon chance for the hottest weather in Cincinnati since 2018.

While the high hits 86 degrees on Friday, skies clear out in the evening as less humid air arrives for the weekend. Saturday looks beautiful, with highs in the middle 80s. Father's Day will see highs jump into the lower 90s.

Humidity returns Sunday night, and highs push into the middle to upper-90s on Monday and Tuesday. That would be 10-15 degrees above normal, approaching record temperatures set in 1944.

The hottest day so far in 2024? That was 88 degrees.

The heat index numbers will approach 100 every day next week.

A random pop-up storm is possible, but there are no big areas of rain through next weekend.
