Kim "Winsome" Dong-keon (born June 30, 2002) is a Korean/American League of Legends player who is currently playing as a Support for Fear x Starforge.
History[edit]
Winsome started playing League of Legends in 2020, making Challenger after a single month [1], before finding his way onto Shadow Battlica to make his competitive debut. Winsome's first success was winning the LCK Academy Series October 2021 Event, qualifying them for the LCK Academy 2021 Summer Championship. After topping the group stage, Winsome and co. fell to sister team Shadow EK in a 5-game finals.
On November 17th, 2021, Jacob Wolf published an article, connecting Summit and Winsome to Cloud9 as potential replacements for Fudge, who switched to the midlane, and Vulcan. [2] He was later announced as part of the new Cloud9 roster lead by LS, debuting in a 2-0 weekend in the LCS Spring 2022 - Group Stage with wins against Golden Guardians and TSM. After being demoted later in the split to make way for Isles, Winsome would be released by Cloud9. [3] Winsome then joined Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition to move to Europe and compete in the German Prime League. [4]
Following a 2023 season as part of FlyQuest and FlyQuest Challengers, Winsome finished top 3 in the 2023 LCS Spring Split and 4th NACL 2023 Summer Split. Following a hiatus of one split, Winsome went on to join Winthrop University in the 2024 Summer split to return to the North American Challengers League. Without an appearance on this team, Winsome transfered to Fear x Starforge instead to replace JayJ, who has moved to a substitute position.
